Jennifer Aniston and her Dog

Pet dogs much loved by people from all walks of life. Even Hollywood stars adore their furry friends, and some pamper them not just with hugs and kisses but also bling. It doesn’t matter if these dogs are purebred, strays, or rescues, each are much loved by their celebrity owners.

Here is a list of Hollywood stars who love to hang out with their pooches:

Ben Flajnik –the current “Bachelor” from the “The Bachelor” reality TV show owns a Jack Russell Terrier named “Scotch.” He brought Scotch along when he went on a date in the show.

Fergie and Josh Duhamel – this singer and actor couple have two dachshunds named “Meatloaf” and “Zoe.” These two wiener dogs, along with Fergie and Josh, were caricatured in their latest Christmas card cover.

Adele – the belle of the ball at the recent Grammy’s, singer Adele also has an adorable dachshund called “Louie”, named after Louie Armstrong. He was nearly named “Britney Spears” even though he is a boy Adele explains, “He was born on the night I went to see Britney Spears in London. I almost called him Britney even though he was a boy. But it only lasted a few hours until my hangover stopped.”

Natalie Portman – this actress who has both beauty and brains, also has a Yorkshire Terrier called “Whiz” who she usually takes with her as she travels.  Natalie says that Whiz “has this amazing intuition of knowing how people feel.”

Justin Timberlake – this actor and singer seems to love big dogs. He has two boxers named “Buckley” and “Brennan”, as well as a pitbull/lab mix.

Gisele Bundchen – this supermodel has a supercute Yorkie called “Vida”.

Jennifer Aniston – actress Jennifer lost her faithful companion “Norman”, a Welsh Corgi/Terrier mix) middle of last year but still has her white German Shepherd called “Dolly”.

Kate Bosworth – this actress owns a rescue dog called “Lila”.

Hugh Jackman – this actor may look intimidating in his roles but he’s a softie at heart, especially when it comes to dogs. His dog is “Peaches”, a sweet looking French Bulldog.

Rihanna – this singer has two dogs named “Marley” and “DJ”. DJ is a Maltepoo, which is a cross between the Maltese breed and the Poodle breed.

Charlize Theron – this gifted actress adopted two rescues last year after all her eight dogs died within the span of two and a half years. Like many other Hollywood stars, Charlize advocates the adoption of dogs in shelters.
