Dog Shoots Man

In this bizarre tale, a 40-year-old New Zealand man is recovering from a surgery that removed a bullet from his buttocks after being shot by his dog.

Yet his dog did not fire the gun intentionally, and it appears to be have been an accident.

The injured man was among a group of four who went out hunting, killing and butchering a domestic pig.

The man was climbing into the back seat of a four-wheel drive car when the dog jumped on the loaded .22 caliber rifle that was lying on the seat.

That is when the bullet fired through the seat and lodged in the man’s buttocks, according to the New Zealand Herald.

Police Senior Constable Ian Anderson said that the man was lucky he wasn’t seriously injured and “It should be standard procedure to ensure the bolt and ammunition is removed before transporting a fire arm.”

What do you think of this tale? - Is this karma for going out and butchering animals or an accident that can happen to anyone?
